Assistance service when the person requires emergency cash following incidents like theft/burglary of luggage/money or hold up.

Conditions:

  • The loss of travel funds in this case should be reported to the Police having jurisdiction at the place of loss within 24 hours of the occurrence of the incident and a written report being obtained for the same.
  • In case of loss of traveler's cheques, it should be immediately reported to the local branches or agents of the issuing authority.
  • Loss of travel funds as mentioned above should be reported and claim be made immediately while on tour.

Exclusions:

  • Shortage or loss of funds due to currency fluctuation, errors, omissions, exchange loss or depreciation in value.
  • Any loss not reported to the Police having jurisdiction at the place of loss within 24 hours of the occurrence of the incident and a written report being obtained for the same.
  • Any claim in respect of a loss of traveller's cheques not immediately reported to the local branches or agents of the issuing authority.
  • Loss of funds not kept in the personal custody of the Insured.
  • Any claim made after arrival of the Insured/Insured Person back to the Republic of India.
  • Any exclusion mentioned in the 'General Exclusions' section of the Policy.
